Addis Ababa, February 25, 2026 – Her Excellency Ms. Selamawit Dawit, Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Service, received and held discussions with H.E. Nicholas Simard, Canada’s Ambassador to Ethiopia, at her office.

During the meeting, it was noted that the two countries will work to strengthen their mutual cooperation regarding migration and returnees, as well as border management and legal human mobility.
