The Immigration and Citizenship Service (ICS) has successfully concluded a comprehensive training program conducted at the National Security University. The training focused on information security, customer service, diplomacy, international relations, migration laws, and various other professional topics for 148 employees.
Mr. Gosa Demissie, Deputy Director General and Head of the Immigration Sector, noted that over the past two years, the institution has designed 11 reform agendas. These reforms aim to:
He emphasized that human resource development and capacity building are core pillars of these 11 agendas. The goal of partnering with various institutions for training is to produce a workforce that is knowledgeable, skilled, and vigilant—capable of fulfilling both the service and regulatory responsibilities of the institution.
