During the presentation of the six-month performance report for the 2018 fiscal year, the Director General of the Immigration and Citizenship Service (ICS), Her Excellency Ms. Selamawit Dawit, highlighted that efforts to enhance operational capacity and expand service quality have enabled a seamless transition from the old system to the new one.
According to the evaluation of the six-month report, the launch of E-Passport services across all branches has led to more than 800,000 customers applying for the new electronic passport through branch offices alone.
The Director General stated that to improve customer satisfaction, the institution will work toward even greater service quality and accessibility in the future. She emphasized the importance of coordinated, plan-based execution.
