The Immigration and Citizenship Service (ICS) has launched a comprehensive training program for 201 employees at the National Security University. The curriculum covers diplomacy, international relations, information security, customer service, migration laws, and various other professional topics.

Key Highlights from the Opening Ceremony

During the opening remarks, Mr. Bikila Mezgebu, Deputy Director General and Head of the Citizenship Sector, emphasized the following points:

  • Human-Centered Reform: The institution has implemented reforms focused on modernizing service delivery and ensuring public satisfaction.
  • Capacity Building: A primary pillar of this reform is the recruitment, development, and capacity building of human resources.
  • Skill Development: Beyond increasing staff numbers with qualified new hires, the ICS is committed to continuous education to enhance the skills of both leadership and general staff.
  • Service Standards: The ultimate goal of the training is to produce a workforce prepared to serve citizens with sincerity, integrity, and humility.
